Decatur County, Indiana--largest city Greensburg, population 11,916. The county has 26,559 people. They have 123 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 10 deaths.
The list of random rural counties hit hard by this virus could go on and on."Jesus said to them, 'Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are going into the kingdom of God ahead of you.'"

you have to break down population size. you could say north dakota is spread out, but most of the infections is in more populated areas. hence the whole definition of social distancing.
it's an evil situation. when you look back at the statics, way more people will have died in blue states than red. unless those red states were like florida and texas. it's a blue state disease buddy. if i was in the red states i'd say let them die. i am not so i am not saying that.
overpopulation, we brought it on ourselves the way we live. i sense that's the real argument here. if you guys want to eviscerate me for saying something like that, you can. i can take take. i am just throwing the idea out there. i don't think population is bad, i am just saying, something like this will be inevitable. we brought this on ourselves.
maybe someday we will all be waking around all the time with masks on. which is the ultimate denial. maybe we'll kill some fucking Yangtze River dolphin to extinction. or catch a virus from a pangolin going extinct. or want rhinoceros or elephant horns because we are told to believe it can cure. or maybe we can have better public healthcare and won't need to.
here's a tip, when a lot of people in the world get sick, they say they are going to the 'hospital' they don't say they are going to see a doctor. so yeah, universal healthcare would prevent trade in endangered animals. and the US is sort of culpable. yet, medicare is massively abused.
it's judgement day. and there are many more judgement days ahead for all us. so we got that. i don't fool myself. i know what my sins are. like everyone else, i have just as many as everyone. but don't fool yourself. we are a part of our civilization. and we are destroyers of species and worlds.
and now the species fight back in microbial form, and suddenly we don't like it.

We, my family and I, should be able to avoid falling for the bullshit if we stay alert.
But I absolutely agree with quite a bit of this article and hope others will be careful not to fall for it after this crisis is over.If I whisper my wicked marching orders into the ether with no regard to where or how they may bear fruit, I am blameless should a broken spirit carry those orders out upon the innocent, for it was not my hand that took the action merely my lips which let slip their darkest wish. ~Daniel Devereaux 2011

https://forge.medium.com/prepare-for...g-6a8ce3f0a0e0It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.
