THIS is why we need to arm ourselves.

    Frankly--If I were there--I'd probably be dead.

But I'd take as many of these asshats with me.
If I whisper my wicked marching orders into the ether with no regard to where or how they may bear fruit, I am blameless should a broken spirit carry those orders out upon the innocent, for it was not my hand that took the action merely my lips which let slip their darkest wish. ~Daniel Devereaux 2011

On a lighter note, OneJ should have taken the 71 million Trump vote bet. Projections now are for well over 150 million votes. At 155 million, if Trump gets 46% of the vote, OneJ wins.

155 million votes out of a total voting population of 255 million would put the percentage as high as it has been since 1968, and a top 3 election by turnout percentage in the last 100 years. I hope it gets there and I hope Trump loses by at least 15 million votes. He will claim 20 million of them are fraudulent, of course.

I am hoping for a true statement to Trumpism--a popular vote and EC victory approaching the complete domination of Nixon in 72 and Reagan in 84. You know, the sort of landslides Trump claimed to have had in 2016 when he lost the popular vote by 3 million to HRC.

The electoral college is not going to remotely approach Reagan 84 levels even if Biden does 10 points better than the polls indicate.

Enjoy the EC while it still exists, I gotta think it's gonna be gone by 2024.

I am hoping for that as well. But... if Trump has a lead for one minute on Tuesday night, he may try to declare an early victory before all of the mail-in/Biden votes get counted late Tuesday/early Wednesday. Then if all of the mail-in/Biden votes swing the results, Trump will claim election fraud. Then he may tell all of his "very fine supporters" to just say no to this "fraud election." And then Fox and friends will have full blown coverage of the "fraud of the century." Either way, cities across the country are now preparing for major protesting/rioting/shooting. Hopefully, it doesn't come to this.

Democrats can possibly do a lot with the presidency and two houses of Congress, but how are they going amend the Constitution? That takes a little more.

I believe it takes 2/3ds of both houses and 3/4ths of the states to ratify--Hard but not impossible.

NYT Siena polls in 4 of the biggest battleground states. Here’s the times article with the full write-up.

Joseph R. Biden Jr. leads President Trump in Pennsylvania, Florida, Arizona and, by a wide margin, in Wisconsin, according to a Times/Siena College poll.

Here's what's going on at the Trump rallies:

At least they're starting to wear masks. I think Biden may have started taking the Adderall now too because, unless i missed it, he has been gaffe free for a few months now.

Mail voting was always problematic. Expanded early voting has solved most of the problems.

If you use their interactive map, just assigning Ohio and Georgia to Trump moves the odds more than 20%. Give Trump just Pennsylvania and he's a 60/40 favorite. What's fun is giving Trump Nebraska 2nd and Maine 2nd, just 2 EV, makes it close to a coin flip.

You cannot get it through either house of Congress without major Republican support. Then, thirteen states can kill it. Hillary got thirteen states in 2016.

The Times is predicting Trump loses again. Surprise, surprise.

Pennsylvania is Biden's Florida. It's hard to make a winning path without it.
