Answer to the questions I posed regarding Klobuchar, please and thank you.

So this post was about me, when I hadnt addressed you in any way. Instead of addressing arguments, you write me off with an insult like that... and you're the one begging for civility... got it.

Thanks for the lesson in how I should post more respectfully, kind sir. Good day to you.

Fivethirtyeight updated their prediction model. Totals are delegates (1990 for a majority)

            Sanders 1492
            Biden 1033
            Warren 613
            Buttigieg 496
            Bloomberg 213

I think they underestimate how hard Biden is collapsing. If Biden finishes 4th in Iowa, he could also finish 4th in New Hampshire, and then his electability argument is gone. If he loses South Carolina, he would have to step aside for Bloomberg's super Tuesday run, you would think.

I'm terrified of Bloomberg, up to 14% in the morning consult poll. I don't know if he can turn it into votes, especially after he joins debates and faces scrutiny, but his first quarter $Bn spent got him to 14% and he just approved another quarter bil.

It would be premature to completely right Biden off after results from one state. But it sure looks grim for him, particularly considering that he really has nothing to offer other than electability.

Being the vindictive asshole that she is, of course she disallowed him from attending his mother's funeral while stealing the prime of his life. I have no clue what anybody here likes about her. Not a fun way for her to go into the weekend before Iowa, but I guess at least with impeachment holding her in the Senate she can't be asked about it.

So you asked for answer, as I'm imagining this was the post you were talking about.

First, this was a pretty tragic case in our community at the time. This young girl was literally in her house when the stray bullet killed, so there is a lot of emotion behind. I don't recall there being any real outcry at the time that this was an unjust conviction of Burrell. Putting a 15 year old away for life back in 2002 was not seen as a huge injustice, either. If there is new evidence, by all means, let's see it and, if there is cause, lets open an appeal and retry the case.

As for attending the funeral, I'm about the most merciful person around, but if you're a convicted murderer, one of the punishments is not being able to attend these family events. Tyesha Edwards, the young gal he's been convicted of murdering, is going to get to go to her mom's funeral. Heck, she didn't even get the joy of having a Sweet Sixteen party.

As for defending Klobuchar, I'll take a look at the entire body of her work, and say I think she's doing a great job. Every one of these candidates has something marring their complete public life. You decide what you're willing to overlook.

Let's talk about Bernie, you know the commoner, Socialist-Democrat, who has an estimate worth of $2,500,000.

                            Forbes tells us:
Sanders has collected a six-figure annual salary since he joined Congress in 1991, some of which he and his wife (who herself commanded hefty pay as head of now-defunct Burlington College) plowed into personal real estate. Then there are his pensions, which are based on income and years of service. With 28 years in office and a current salary of $174,000, Sanders is entitled to around $73,000 a year from the federal government for the rest of his life. If he were to sell that guaranteed income stream for a lump-sum pile of cash, Forbes figures he could get around $650,000 for it.

Sanders is going to get "around $73,000 a year" for the rest of his life from his government job. I've never lived on that kind of money in my life, and I cannot see how he can connect with me.

This is the gem from the article
In January, he proposed new taxes on “the wealthiest 0.2 percent of Americans,” including a 45% tax on estates worth between $3.5 million and $10 million.
                            (my bold).

He just couldn't quite see in himself to think he at $2.5 million thinks he has enough. HYPO-FUCKING-CRIT! So TW, how do you support someone who decides that his cut off point for taxing the rich is just above his pay grade?
