Im not sure which one said it, but I would say that calling Trump ‘motherfu**er’ is at least vile and maybe hateful as well. YMMV.

Motherfucker is one of the most celebrated words in America, and as a general placeholder for a "terrible human", Trump certainly fits the definition of a motherfucker.

I granted that in my original post of their 33-minute long interview that I did not like Tlaib saying that but it was on election night and I asked for one quote since they were in office. One, just one. Something from a presser, a tweet, anything? Just give me a fully accurate quote and particularly one that makes them sexist, racist, or homophobic since Jay wanted that to be part of his argument.

I am unaware of anything beyond the ‘all about the Benjamins’ and the ‘motherfu**er’ comments. I do think those quotes are problematic. I gather many others don’t think they are. Shrug.

I wouldn't find it hateful. calling people out for who they are isn't vile it's descriptive.

I don't love the use of MF'er by an elected official on camera and I'd rather not see it, but I am an adult and it doesn't offend me just like I don't get worked up anymore that Trump says BS at rallies on the regular. I'd rather we not, but using a curse word by Trump or Tlaib is in my mind lowering the office, but it isn't on the level of being racist, sexist, or homophobic.

People on twitter tell me all the time what Trump meant when he said something and I hate it so I won't explain away Omar saying it's all about the Benjamins. I will only say she did apologize when it became clear that she was wrong and that her illusion to Jews and money was a poor choice. President Trump though has never apologized for one of his many inapprorpiate tweets or statements.

I appreciate you pointing out two even, but jay made it sound like they were on the level of Trump with their inappropriate/offensive comments. Four women who have tons of quotes out there and plenty of tweets to look through we have two comments. I won't say that the Squad is polished in their delivery yet, but they are not racists, sexist, or homophobic.

If fascists really did come to USA they would call themselves something like Antifa and accuse others of being fascists, sexist, racist, homophobe and every other pejorative. The fascists were also socialists, so right now the Democratic party is a lot closer than Republicans.

That's not true. I can wait for the election and then say told you.

I have little doubt that Trump will be reelected. He squeaked one out over a better financed and better known candidate. At the time he had real opposition inside the party and from conservatives generally. He has won over the right wing neverTrumpers, made inroads in the minority vote and gets to run as an incumbent with a good economy. In the meantime, Democrats have fragmented like the Republicans did in 2006 to 2008. I do not see this particular race as close, regardless of the Democrat's choice.

The real question is the makeup of Congress. Can the Republicans win back the House?

Time to change that tinfoil hat into a tinfoil full metal jacket.

"Motherfucker" is my kids nickname for me, because it is true! I find few things more amusing than watching the reactions when I walk up and my kids declare, "Hey Motherfucker, how was work today?"
