I know that as I have gotten older I have problems sleeping many nights. I often wake up around 3:30 and have trouble getting back to sleep.

My daughter tells me I actually have a Twitter account she set up for me, but the only people I am following are Jason Collette and Bootsy Collins.

Does being a neophyte mean he doesn't have to engage reality yet? And if we shouldn't take him literally, how should we take him?

He doesn't state things as though they are figurative, and denies that he speaks figuratively. Remember Hugh Hewitt and the "founder of ISIS" interview, when Hugh pushed and pushed to get Trump to say he meant it figuratively. Trump insisted that he meant Obama actually founded ISIS.

Trump ran in large part on being a plain talking straight shooter...the guy who says what he means and means what he says. Is the GOP now saying we can't believe anything Trump says? Or that we can't know what Trump means until somebody interprets it for him later? Does Trump speak for Trump?

It seems to me that Trump has two voices...one is the twitter/unscripted Trump. The other is the scripted/written Trump, which is the voice of Steve Bannon. So you have a guy you can't take literally or scary/alt-right.

Somebody please come up with a convincing argument on how this is not the case.
