You’re probably correct. I know he hates Trump and I don’t think he has a path back into politics at this point so I threw him out there.
Maybe some of the Orange County Congressman that lost?

It’s a career killing kamikaze mission, so it isn’t going to be a very deep pool of potentional candidates.
Carly Fiorina would be a potentially fun anti-Trump spoiler with a strong personal grudge after his cracks about her face in 2016.

There you go...that’s a good guess. She has the $ to do it as well.

Mark Cuban seems the type to run a kamikaze mission. He has the money, hates Trump and if he runs as a 3rd party-leans GOPer type, he could siphon off GOP voters.

While I think a good Dem candidate can beat Trump without a gimmick like this, it can only help!

Can we put the Bernie for Prez mantra to bed now? Again, to state facts, he's not even a true Democrat, so that's a huge strike against him, he's never accomplished anything in the Senate, other than getting a Post Office named, and yes, he cost HRC the election in 2016. So did Jill Stein, that nutjob from the Libertarian party, and her own hubris. As a result, we have Trump. So please, no more Bernie talk.

I'm happy to accept a progressive Democrat, and anyone who backs national Health care is progressive enough in my book. I'd take a strong look at Beto, I really like Corey Harris, and there's probably a few that really aren't on the public conscience yet.

Trump is the most beatable President since Jimmy Carter, the Democratic party would REALLY have to screw things up in order to lose in 2020. Especially now that the economy is starting to go the wrong way...

Well, whether you like it or not, he is probably going to run. And that will lead to a lot of posts about him and his campaign.
PS- Hillary was the biggest factor in her own loss. Not Jill Stein

I find myself agreeing with you a lot these days.

I'm not a 'Bernie or bust' guy, but he's my #1 unless someone better materializes.

                  Ocasio-Cortez??
It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years and we must stop it.

She turns 35 just a few weeks before Election Day 2024. I imagine you can run as long as you'd be 35 before taking office, no?

Let's give her a few at bats before we start talking Hall of Fame.

                          Agreed.

I love the way she's villainized and obsessed over by the right, and think it elevates her cache very nicely. Maybe future speaker of the house first?

Yeah, why has she become the boogeyman to Fox News and so many others? The GOP autopsy from a few years ago showed that educated young women should be a target demographic.

Because she's a female person of color. They just can't help themselves.
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

I would suspect it is her Socialistic propensity. I do think that there are some young educated women that have more conservative leanings. Fox is more apt to spread the fear than be the standard bearer for the future GOP women's club as spreading the fear likely fits their preferred modus operandi.
