Are we going to have the new categories changed in yahoo! before we start drafting? I need all the help I can get, and would like to use yahoo! to figure out values.

As far as I know Yahoo does not adjust their ranking based on a league configuration that does not use their default stats categories.

I'm not asking for rankings from yahoo, I want the stats we are going to be using listed in the manner that we'll be using. So I'm just hoping the categories will be adjusted...soon.

Yeah, Amit handled that last year...I know there are randomizers on the internet that'll set a draft order for you, but I kind of want to keep out of that part of it.

In old mocks (or was it vintage drafts ...) one guy would randomize the league owners and the other would randomize the draft owner. Some magic pixie would merge the lists to determine the order. Amit is about as stand up as you can find around these parts. The appearance of neutrality is important.

Again, happy to randomize for one of the two - just don't know exactly how.

I will randomize the owner names - perhaps Amit can do the numbers? We send each other the results and I will watch Oak figure out how they line up.

This weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving. I am travelling with limited access to my worksheets or the Internet.

That being said, like Pogues, I think we all need to know where we landed on the League Stats to be used. I saw discussion, not much dissent - just not sure where we landed.

Yes, keeping it simple this season, we can tweak it during the season for next year.

Picking can commence anytime, but the draft will officially begin on Monday at 8:00 am Central. 6 hour time limit around the clock, period. I'm too old to try to keep track of someone who didn't pick for 5 hours, then gets another 8 overnight. 6 is nice and fair, and easy to keep track of. If you're skipped once, you'll be skipped until you make up your picks. Make sense?
