i would think it's harder to make lines in the beginning of the season. picking 11 underdogs and 5 favorites seems lopsided.

that loss to maimi last year cost ne the conference championship game. had they won ne would've had home field advantage vs denver, otherwise i would take the 4.5 points.

If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

i can tell you that the saints, pats, and jags probably won't cover their games spread in week 2 as they are the only 3 teams that will be playing 2 consecutive weeks on the road.

i committed the cardinal sin of football gambling, laying more than a field goal to a home underdog in a divisional game. but i thought the game meant something to the patriots, i was wrong.

edit: i don't gamble anymore but if you do, you'd want to parlay the skins to +1.5 and vikes to +10.5. of course my thing was 3 teams teases, make it more exciting. so you'd want to be a lobster and skins to +4.5, vikes to +13.5 and browns to +15.5 (KC is an option at +21.5 but...) feels more risky tho. i can see the browns not covering tho just cause NO lost and CLE almost won, but i couldn't in good conscience tease NO down being 2 weeks on the road. gotta have rules.

you picked 3 divisional games dude. we would've had fun gambling together back in the day. running out to the pay phone to call in our 4pm games before we knew how the 1pm games went.

The Eagles became the first team in NFL history to be shut out in the first half and down at least 17 points but come back to win by at least 17 points.

Is there precedent for being down by 17 or more at the half and coming back to cover a spread of 10 or more?
