  • Keeper Question

I am in a league where we get to retain one player. Our keeper must have been drafted by the same team the prior year (ie, no trade acquisitions, free agents, etc) and must have been drafted in the seventh round or later. The player occupies the same draft position this year as he did year.

Is that clear? (Sorry if it is confusing... maybe this will help

Last year I drafted the Seahawks D in Round 7... and Michael Crabtree in Round 13.

I get to keep ONE of them this year... who should I keep?

If I keep the Seahawks D they'll be slotted into this year's seventh rd pick... if I keep Crabtree he is slotted into my 14th rd pick.

I love the Seahawks D... but my gut instinct says to go with Mike!

    What do you think??

Crabtree. Defenses, even great ones, vary from year to year, and at a 7th round cost, the Seahawks are fairly valued.

Agreed - I'd definitely go with Crabtree. Much better value getting him that late in the draft. You could get a top 3 D somewhere in the 7-10th round range if you wanted to

A little late to the party but I'd also go with Crabtree. Good luck!
