What a freaking comeback by the Colts! And that TD was one of the most bizarre I have ever seen.

I hope all you betting folks took the over.

That timeout immediately following the 2 minute warning? We saw that kind of thing for 14 years in Philly.

@ViewFromVegas: Sports book at @TIvegas erupts as most bettors cash (KC +2.5/+2/ +1.5 + those on IND w PK/+1/+1.5/+2)

spread moved about 5 pts in 24 hours - tough one for Vegas!

              .........

in Reid's defense, none of the NFC East teams knew/know how to manage the clock, either - and Coughlin won two SBs anyway. he also called timeouts earlier because plays weren't ready, to avoid 5 yd penalties (at least in these cases it was a 3rd and 7, and then 1st and 10 from the Indy 29 - though I'd have taken the delay there, but that's not nearly as questionable as most 2nd half TOs to avoid 5 yd penalties).

And the league's 2nd and 4th most prolific offenses are locked in a defensive struggle. Sure, we saw that coming.

There's no defense for any professional coach not to know how to use timeouts...I don't care where you came from and how inept your competition may have been. We at home know when a time out should be used, and when it shouldn't...you'd think that a team with a staff of something close to 20 coaches would have someone designated to yell in Reid's ear.

The other issue on the last one is that they should have had at least one alternate play ready in case they didn't like the look of the D, and they didn't. Such unpreparedness has also been a hallmark of Reid over the years.

"This is how Andrew Luck starts his legend. Years from now, you'll always know where you were, how you were feeling the moment Luck put the Indianapolis Colts on his broad shoulders and led them back from a 38-10 deficit and willed the Colts to a 45-44 wild card victory over the star-crossed Kansas City Chiefs.

                      John Elway had The Drive.

                      Luck has The Comeback.

And to think, it was just his first-ever post-season win. What's a guy do for an encore?....

Mostly, though, this was about Luck, who is going to surpass the great Peyton Manning as a post-season performer. He finds form in anarchy, creates magic from madness. With his legs, with his arm, with his mind."

                      ...........

what does he do for an encore? get beat outdoors next weekend?

                      I'll remember this game for:
                      - Jamaal Charles getting hurt in the 1st qtr
                      - a bunch of other Chiefs getting hurt
                      - a Colts goal line fumble that Luckily became a badly-needed TD
                      - Andy Reid soiling himself on 4th qtr game management, for old times' sake

It was pretty obvious that game last night was going to come down to the last possession, I was happily surprised that Payton actually managed the clock well. Game ball should go to the O-Line as the Saints running game was the deciding factor.
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

Yep. The Saints won the line of scrimmage, the Eagles won the turnover battle, and when those things are split, the game is usually close.

The Eagles need a new kicker. In today's NFL, you need a kicker who can do at least one of be consistent from the high 40s and low 50s, or routinely get touchbacks on kickoffs. Preferably both. Henery can do neither. So what if he was a stud in college, so was Brett Conway.

                            Dalton is a total clown.

Bad to worse ... the attempted TD pass at 4 and 3 was a donk play right?

What is the American translation of "donk"?

Dalton isn't a total clown. He's good enough to win in the regular season but not good enough to win in the playoffs. Cincy might be a juggernaut if they had a better QB.
