Peyton Manning finishes with single season records of 5477 passing yards and 57 TD passes. Denver finishes with a regular season record of 606 points scored.

Manning (64,964 yds + 491 tds) also has an excellent chance of breaking Brett Favre's (71,838 yds + 508 tds) career records in the next two seasons.

Arizona fails to make the playoffs with a 10-6 record. While Green Bay is in at 8-7-1 and Dallas could be in at 9-7 with a win tonight.

This does get interesting, though. Do the Chargers play to win, or to not lose? Do the Chiefs, who certainly didn't want to be involved in overtime in a game that means nothing to them, go all-out? If neither team tries, does the Commissioner launch one of his famous "investigations"? I guess the latter depends on whether the franchises involved are among his pets or not.
I think that fake punt play from their own 30 or so answered the question how the Chargers were looking at overtime.
Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?

Chargers lost to the NFL's two worst teams - Houston and Washington, and to out-of-playoffs Raiders, Titans, Dolphins, too.
And they beat the Broncos in Denver, the Chiefs in KC [won't list today's W vs backups], the Colts, and the NFC East champs (no matter who wins tonight).

more dangerous on paper than either Eli Giants title teams in regular season those years.

              I wonder....

That game was not good for the blood pressure.

NO on the road is the best possible matchup for the Eagles. The Saints have looked ordinary outside of the Superdome.

Apparently, San Diego used an illegal formation during the missed field goal by Succop at the end of regulation which should have allowed Kansas City another attempt from five yards closer!

The Texans are definitely NOT one of the worst teams. They have the first pick, because they had an awful season, but I would love to start my coaching career with that roster.

Watching Steelers fans eat dirt is worth a missed FG and a blown call. The Chiefs played well and got a lot of reps for the depth. That is all that really matters.

The NFC West is going to be brutally tough for several years. The Seahawks, Niners and Cardinals all have a lot of talent that will be around for a while and St. Louis will add two top-13 picks to an already growing core.

AFC West gets three teams in the playoffs. That division looks like the best to me, although one could argue either way.
After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

They're in a similar situation to KC at the end of last year. A decent roster derailed by injuries, poor coaching, and atrocious QB play.
