Time to give up on McGahee or Mathews?

I'm trying to get some more upside at the end of my bench.

The 2 guys I could cut are Ryan Matthews or McGahee. Sadly there's no new news about Mathews and his concussion. If he's going to be out a few weeks then obviously he can go.

12-team PPR. Here's who I'm looking at picking up:

zach stacy
Keenan Allen
andre ellington
terrance williams
harry douglas

add stacey and toss either. I would toss Mathews first.

I'm not sure I would cut either -- can you peddle them? Who else is on your bench?

I like Ellington & Allen. Who are your other RBs?

No luck doing 2-for-1s or moving these guys along.

My other RBs are Sproles, Spiller, Lamar Miller, Giovanni Bernard. My other WRs are a fiasco... VJax, Josh Gordon, Edelman, Boldin, Bowe. I still think Bowe has too much upside to cut.

I'd drop them both and add Allen and either Stacey or Ellington.

I don't see how often you'd really start any of the RBs you own, or any of those who are available, but yeah, your WR situation could get ugly. so I'd cut either one and pick up Harry Douglas and hope that Atlanta continues to pass a lot. Tony Gonzalez sees double teams, and somebody has to get some receptions and receiving yards.
