Trade Offer for David Wilson

In my 14 team league I have McCoy, Lacy & L. Miller as my top 3 RBs. Would you deal Lacy or L. Miller for D. Wilson? I was thinking about making the Wilson owner an offer. His team is:

QB: Brees, G. Smith
RB: Spiller, Wilson, P. Thomas
WR: Royal, T. Smith, Shorts, M. Williams, Randle
TE: Gronkowski, K. Winslow
K: Novak
DEF: STL

My team is in my signature. We can either start 1 RB and 3 WRs or 2 RBs and 2 WRs.

I would trade Miller for Wilson. not too sure about trading Lacy though.

I sent him a message to ask about Wilson & Randle, asked him if he'd be willing to deal either or both. I like Randle since I have Nicks (who has had injury problems in the past). Randle would put up good numbers if Nicks or Cruz were injured.

Not sure what he'll say.

Miller would count as a 4th round keeper next year, Wilson is not eligible as a keeper. I had Wilson & Miller rated almost identically going into our fantasy draft.

What if I give:

Lamar Miller (4th round keeper next year)
E.J. Manuel (10th round keeper next year)

And I get:

David Wilson (not eligible keeper next year)
Reuben Randle (10th round keeper next year)

That would leave me with:

QB: Vick & Bradford
RB: McCoy, Lacy, Wilson, B. Brown
WR: Dem. Thomas, Colston, Nicks, Randle
TE: Fleener
K: Bailey
DEF: BAL, MIN

I dunno, if this is Wilson's buy-low value, then why not just keep Miller?

I guess its more of a question of who's more valuable for the rest of the season? Miller or Wilson? If its that close then I'm probably better off keeping Miller since I can keep him as a 4th round pick next year.

Getting Randle is just a thought on my part to get Nicks handcuff (in case he gets hurt). Plus I can afford to deal Manuel since I have Vick & Bradford at QB. We can only keep 1 player each year, I put the keeper round for next year in parenthesis in my signature.

Nicks is a FA this year so I think getting Randle is a good idea. He'd be worth a 10th round keeper if he has the starting gig. I like either the Miller/Manuel trade or just the Manuel trade - I think Wilson still outperforms Miller for the rest of the year by a good margin.

as long as he can remain healthy, Nicks is not going anywhere. The Giants consider him to be superior to Cruz.

Agreed - it's the "staying healthy" part that is the key
