I commish a league where trading rules are the following
"there are no hard veto rules but if the commisioner recieves complaints he will have a conversation with both owners and if its shown there is no collusion, trades will stand".
the second part states "there will be no borrowing trades nor will there be future trades or PTBNL trades."
So last week, two owners want to make the following deal
Team A trades Gronk and Russell Wilson
Team B trades Newton and Dallas Clark
The problem being NE played Thurs so the trade cannot go through until Week 3. The owners then decide, they will trade the QBs on Friday, then the TEs on the following Tuesday. I tell them they cannot do that. They then settle on
Team A trades Jennings and Russell Wilson
Team B trades Newton and Dallas Clark
Yesterday, Team B puts newly acquired Jennings OTB and less than 24 hours later, he is traded back to Team A for Gronk. When I speak to owner B, he tells me this wasnt agreed upon prior but he really doesnt want Jennings and really wants Gronk.
On the surface, the tradeof Jennings-Gronk is fair enough. However, knowing what I know, the trade stinks. I have never had a problem with either owner.
Would you allow the trade to go through?
