Deadskins can't do one single thing well tonight. Poor tackling (no doubt tired), can't punt, returner is faircatching punts inside the 5 yard line.....I hate football

I'm not able to watch tonight - views on Chip Kelly's offense?
I'm just here for the baseball.

Worth getting Vick if my QB options are Palmer and Roethlisberger?

Yes. I don't think Big Ben's gonna be worth much this year.

Yeah, Vick's the starter among that group.

It was obvious that the Eagles caught a break getting Week 1 rehab RG III.

It was less obvious that being the guinea pig for the Chip Kelly manic offense was a terrible Week 1 draw.

That said, Vick in that offense looks he won't survive Week 4, and the Redskins answered back with 3 TDs and had an uncertain moment on an onside kick to try to take the lead with 74 seconds left.

                Interesting game.

Who? Oh right...that QB in Jax.
Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?

Griffin started looking a lot better in the second half, almost as if you could just see the rust falling away as he played.

In the short run, absolutely. And if he has a big game in week two, trade him as I can't imagine him being healthy during fantasy playoffs. Hit when he hands off to McCoy, hit when he scrambles and doesn't slide. Hit when he passes from the pocket, hit when he passes after scrambling. Hit when McCoy reverses direction and he decides to sprint to throw a diving block.

                      • scratch Leon Washington as a potential Giant RB, he actually re-signed with the Pats on Sunday.

                          agreed.
Vick has learned NOTHING about taking care of himself for a full season..

Not panicking here in the Nation's Capital. We saw enough in the second half to be hopeful about what comes next.

Learning is not Vick's thing. Every year he says he will slide, play more under control, hold onto the ball better, and he never does. He is hard-wired to do what he has always done and it's never going to change.
