Thankfully most teams have scrapped the silly fake neck roll collar on their jerseys, which made them look like 1970s leisure suits.

I'm pretty sure that the NFL couldn't have screwed up the opening game any more if they'd planned it out. Hopefully, this isn't a harbinger of things to come...

If you're in a CBS league and have a mobile device, their new app for this season is great! The live scoring is fantastic, as it now flashes with the points your player got on his last scoring play, which is a nice touch.

And remember, this game was supposed to open in Baltimore, but the NFL and MLB couldn't come to an agreement.

Orioles are in a postseason race and did win tonight while using those parking lots.
only had 17,000 on hand, but....

Bad night for punt returners all around. I'm really wondering if Jones' hyperextended knee today becomes an ACL tear tomorrow...

What, you couldn't stay awake for Joe Kapp throwing 7 TD passes?

I was actually at that game...I am old.

Good job by the Broncos coaches in letting Welker do his thing (7 yard in/out routes) instead of just plugging him into the 2nd/3rd WR position of last year's offense.
