  • 2 Drafts, Same pick...

Got the #2 pick in both my drafts..They are both 12 team PPR, with minor differences..Do I take the same guy with both picks on both teams? (Taking Martin assuming he's not taken #1), or a Rice or Shady for one of the teams?

I usually don't mind having the same players on multiple teams, so I'd say go for Martin in both.

Trust your valuations. Assuming AP goes first, I'd gladly take Martin in both. If AP doesn't go first, I'd take him.

Make it three for Martin...I love Shady and have him in two different leagues, but I think that Martin is the money here.

If you value two guys equally, then it's more interesting to diversify. But if Martin is your clear #2, then take him in both.

I avoid picking the same first round pick in both leagues - diversify injury risk. Agree that it is tough to pass up on Martin.

After Martin, I think arguments can be made for McCoy/Spiller/Charles/Ray Rice.

Maybe see if the guy with the 5th or 6th overall pick in one of your leagues is willing to change draft slots, so you get a better 2nd round pick at least if you pass up on Martin?

Take Martin. I hate having the same guys on different teams but if you take someone different just to be different it may come back to haunt you when Martin is great and whoever you picked is just ok for the #2 pick. In later rounds I am more apt to change picks just to change but not early in the draft.
