  • David Wilson or Eddie Lacy?

Both backs are picking up steam thanks to injuries and productive preseasons. To me, they're pretty close in value - Wilson has more game-breaking potential but Lacy has more scoring potential in the better overall offense. I have the #2 pick in my 12 team draft next week so I have a feeling I'll be targeting one of them at the end of the 2nd/beginning of the 3rd turn.

Who would you rather have? Keeper League and NON-PPR.

Wilson, and it isn't close for me. Green Bay has a crappy offensive line, and Lacy showed in college that he's not particularly durable. I think that Lacy is really getting overhyped right now, and frankly, if you can get Wilson at the end of the 2nd round right now, I'll be surprised.

I agree with most of what Horns said. Green Bay's line has ups and downs, but there are definite durability questions with Lacy. Beyond that for me it's about what both teams like to do on offense. The Giants offense is built on running the ball. Yes they've aired it out more over the past few years, but the running game has always been a big part of the gameplan. Not so for the Pack. Green Bay has gotten by without a running game in several years and have been quite comfortable doing it. Even before the Brown injury I would have taken Wilson over Lacy, now it's a no-brainer but I agree with Horns, you may not get him at the end of 2.

I agree - I did two mock drafts today, one of which where Wilson went at the beginning of the 2nd and one where he went to me at the end of the 2nd. I think, based on what I know of my leaguemates, that it'll be a crapshoot and I wouldn't be surprised if he was still available.

What I like about Lacy is I think they're are going to force feed him the ball and he can make plays - they tried to force feed Benson last year but he was garbage. If they do the same this year, it could turn into some good games for Lacy. But I see your guys point with Wilson being the better pick.

I don't play fantasy football, but the word in NJ is that Coughlin still does not trust Wilson as a blocker, which means he would miss some 3rd down action in particular. I know the No. 2 guy got hurt now, but if this means anything, there it is.

With the Brown injury, I don't think Wilson will be there for you at the end of the 2nd anyway.

Wilson and it's not close. It's been four years since a GB runner of any relevance, so I'm not convinced anything has changed until it HAS changed there. Think Mark Ingram in NO 2 yrs ago.
