10 team Auction last night - thoughts?

I grabbed Charles for $59 and Dez Bryant for $52.
Ended up with two headed QB - Romo and Luck for combined $35
other RB are all lower priced crapshoots, Richardson, Miller(Mia), Ball(Den), and Giovani Bernard. The highest one was $9
WR: Bryant, Colston, Decker, and M.Williams
K Walsh, and Hauschka
D: Seattle

I feel like this is a pretty good team but I need one of the RBs to come through.

In a 10 team league, your #2 RB is Miller/Richardson and your #2 WR is Colston? I'd say that, yeah, you need one of the young RBs to really hit big.

in a ten teamer your team is ordinary. You have two low end starting QBs. You have a good RB 1 but low end RB2's. Your WRs are fine but your strength is depth which I am sure a lot of teams have in a ten team league.

Thanks for the input. I don't see any teams that stand out. Lots of mediocrity, teams with a couple high priced guys and question marks. Lots of overpriced middle tier guys the rest of the teams fought over.

Dd you say you paid $9 for Trent Richardson? I think that's a steal. Maybe I'm a bit higher on your team than the others. I can see the WRs needing help, but they're not awful. Your RBs are fine, and your QBs have a chance to be great (well, Luck does).

One thing that sucked about this auction was that we used Yahoo. One guy wasn't online and did an auto auction and that meant that as long as he had money, the system bid every player up to his Yahoo projected value - hence, no deals. Another owner bought his top few players and signed out and filled his team with the auto function - again, it sucked. It was very hard to find value until the very end.

I thought about throwing out a bunch of stiffs for them to buy and bid them up just to fill up these rosters, but with only one nomination in ten, it really wouldn't have had much impact.
