Oh boy.
Originally posted by RotoworldAccording to ESPN New York, sources close to the Jets don't know if Santonio Holmes (Lisfranc) is still healing, or "milking the injury to protect his self interests."
We'd guess the latter. Lisfranc injuries are serious business, but rarely take a year to return from in an age where players hurry back from Achilles' and ACL tears. Holmes went down last September 30. Per beat writer Rich Cimini, Holmes "looked like an old man as he walked across the practice field" last week. Guaranteed $7.5 million this season and certain to be cut next winter, Holmes — from his point of view — has no reason to rush his return.Originally posted by Kevin SeitzerWe pinch ran for Altuve specifically to screw over Mith's fantasy team.

In the meantime, keep moving Vincent Brown and Keenan Allen up your boards.
Local radio honks are saying the injuries to Floyd and DX are because of the new press defense they're using (having the DBs lock up the WRs at the line of scrimmage). CB Shareece Wright is "responsible" for both of the injuries, but Mike McCoy is downplaying any of that. It's football for chrissakes! Put on your big boy pants and sack up.

Patriots received a minor (ok, MAJOR) scare yesterday when Tom Brady went down with a knee injury - which I head some describe as the same type that knocked him out for the 2008 season. He seems to be ok, but with how tight-lipped Czar Belichick is with info from Patriotland, who knows. Tim Tebow becoming a blip on the radar again???

Hey, chances are he was going to miss a few games during the course of the year anyway, so he's just getting it out of his system now. Talk is they might bring in the locker room cancer Brandon Lloyd for a look-see. McCoy had success with him in his offense in Denver so who knows. Most likely, they'll bring in a WR when roster cuts start happening.
