That's an odd rumor to float about the Eagles, given how they've gone to that well recently and it hasn't worked, combined with the owner saying at the press conference announcing Reid's firing that they erred in deviating from their longstanding policy of not going nuts for free agents or soon-to-be free agents.

The secondary is in tatters and they need bodies for it. However, I don't think they have any illusions about competing in 2013, so I don't think they're serious about this unless they can get Revis to agree to a sign-and-trade.

I'd be wary of over paying for Revis. When healthy, he is a stud but is coming off knee surgery and we have seen how quick these DB's go south.
