Ricky Pearsall was shot in the chest by a 17 year-old boy during a robbery Saturday afternoon in San Francisco's Union Square. He is in serious but stable condition. The former Florida Gator was the number 31 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Looks like he was lucky and will recover, but he will probably be out for several months.

Ricky Pearsall was released from the hospital on Sunday afternoon.
According to Pearsall’s mother on social media Saturday, the wide receiver “was shot in the chest, and it exited out his back.” She also noted that “no vital organs were struck in the attack” while adding, “My son was spared today by the grace of God.”
