  • 2013 RBs

As the season winds down and my team is falling further out of favor, I wondered if anyone had thoughts about what RBs might be good stashes for 2013 -- I am thinking about players who are not starters now but could be in for significantly improved playing time next year. Any thoughts?

Steven Jackson is as good as gone in STL, and Daryl Richardson has looked good. Maybe they give him a shot in '13.
Shonn Greene is likely done as a Jet, so same holds for Bilal Powell.
Ahmad Bradshaw's role will likely be reduced in '13, but I doubt David Wilson is ready yet. Maybe Andre Brown, but I doubt it.

You can also look at Ronnie Hillman if he was not picked up already. With Willis McGahee out for 6-8 weeks this is the time for Hillman to show what he can do in a primary role for the future.
Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

Yeah, I like Ronnie Hillman a lot. He's not going to be an every down back, but he could do a pretty good Sproles impersonation. Vick Ballard, maybe? I am not sure what Donald Brown's situation is. Also, Michael Turner is fading fast, but is Jacquizz Rodgers really the guy?

A couple guys who ARE playing now but could see a bump in PT - CJ Spiller and Jonathan Stewart. I think BUF/CAR find ways to make FJax/DWill go away. (So, as an aside, if you think those guys are top-30 RBs, now might be a time to speculate on THEM before they find new roles as starters. I like FJax more than DWill in that situation)
