  • Week 11 trade thoughts

So, I'm 6-4 in one league, but my RB group is tremendously beat up.

    McFadden- Out
    F. Jackson- Out
    Sproles- Almost definitely out.

At this point, I am reduced to starting Danny Woodhead and Rashad Jennings with a WR at flex. My WRs are Calvin Johnson, Torrey Smith, Mike Williams and Heyward-Bey. One guy is interested in DHB and is offering some (very mild) RB help.

Basically, he's offering one RB from Alex Green and Michael Bush and one WR from Nate Washington and Donald Jones.

My inclination is to take the deal and go Alex Green and Nate Washington for DHB, but I wanted to see if anyone preferred other combinations or think I should just decline the deal outright.

Is Nate Washington even going to make your roster? I'm inclined to say that Green for DHB is reasonable given your injury woes. I guess I'd take Nate over Jones, then again, if it's only a 1-week thing, Jones @NE is a good matchup if you'd be starting him.

I would probably start Nate at the flex over Woodhead and put Green at RB if I did the trade, FWIW.

        N. Washington is on a bye in Week 11 so he won't help you this week. If you need a flex player for this week, you should take D. Jones.

Seth, I assume there are no RB options on the waiver wire? Also, have you tried shopping any of your other WRs for a better RB? Just a couple of thoughts.

Woodhead was, sadly, the best option and I snatched him up this morning

I wouldn't make this deal. I'd start Woodhead at RB and DHB at Flex. With Starks back, A. Green fill be splitting carries so he's not much of an upgrade over Woodhead & Jennings IMHO. Plus DHB has a matchup against NO this week in a game that should be a shootout.

              Is this a PPR league?

              Good luck!

                Heyward-Bey's last 4 games:

                4 rec, 85 yards
                1 rec, 32 yards, 1 TD
                5 rec, 74 yards
                5 rec, 85 yarsd, 1 TD

                In PPR that's 13.6pts per week (9.9 in non-PPR).

Green got 11 carries in Week 9 (compared to Starks who got 17).
