seems like a strange guy to start 2K12 player reviews with, but he went from a guy who had a tremendous bust-out year to a receiver on a team with perhaps the worst QB in the NFL. On a team that may lose their ace RB to an extended holdout, no less.
So what can we expect from Robinson? To refresh your memory, he had 54 catches for 858 yards and 11 TDs, and by Week 7 he was a must-start option. And the Jags leading receiver last year was TE Marcedes Lewis, who had a miserable 460 yards.
Is Robinson even a WR3 at this point? With Justin Blackmon also in town, the Jags have options -- so is it the poor play of Gabbert? How much will new HC Mike Mularkey put up with him before they turn to Chad Henne? If the consensus is Gabbert is a short-timer, does that make Robinson a potential steal?
I'll say the combo of Gabbert/Henne leads Robinson to a 50-750-6 line, good enough to be rostered and used in good matchups.
