If you can start 3 WRs, I like Steve Smith & Maclin.
    14 Team 1/2PPR league (1 Keeper)

QB: Rivers (3), Stafford (5), Keenum (NA)
    RB: Kamara (11), McKinnon (7), Bernard (7)
WR: M. Thomas (NA), Crabtree (1), Shepard (8), Wallace (NA), Cobb (NA)
    TE: Olsen (NA)
    K: Lutz (7)
    DEF: JAX (7)

    (We start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 DEF)

You almost need to go RB. ADP will probably not at full speed for the first month or so and then with MJD holding out history suggests that prolonged hold outs start out very slow.

My vote would be for Donald Brown then Redman (unless I missed that they were drafted). Of the RB's on your list, it would be a coin flip between Spiller and Stewart.

I would rather Tate than Spiller. I am shy about Redman in that I dont see much future for him.

In other news we have managed 6 picks in 3 days. Oi.

Well if you can use 3 WR or have a flex I would take Steve Johnson. You can use Johnson every week and get production, Tate's production is directly tied to Foster's health. He is very talented but his touches make him a weak flex option at best.

Finally some movement. Maclin, Bowe, Romo, Spiller.

I agree I need a RB, and the best pick now and as a keeper is Ben Tate IMO. He is not Tate's handcuff as much as option B in a RBBC, like Peyton Hillis but younger. Arian Foster is 27, which is a big decline year for RB. Tate is 24 which is a big career year. The big headache is the inconsistency (nods to Bob who is shaking his head).

I now have 1 pick in the next 24 because of the trade. Its like picking in a non snake. Depending on who goes, I think a WR or TE in 11 picks.

              The current list is:

              RB: Mendenhall, Spiller, Ingram,

QB: Cutler, Freeman, Ryan, RGIII, Luck

WR: D Jackson, Maclin, A Brown

Missed Cutler before. Not my favorite QB, but he has to be up there now.

I am strongly leaning to Mendenhall. Mostly we are down to backups and handcuffs, some of which I want anyway, eg Jacquizz and Spiller.

If you are concerned about the potential decline of Foster, you should be really concerned about the potential decline of Mendenhall.

I would take Maclin if you think you can wait on QB2, Ryan if you think you can't. QB2 is important if Vick is your QB1.

Mendenhall is a 'win this year' pick.

Then it's an even worse idea, as there's a good chance he starts the year on PUP and doesn't play til midseason.

Not a chance that I'd take Mendenhall right now. He wasn't that good when he was healthy last year. I'd have to think that you'd be able to grab him in another round or two. I'd go with Steve Smith or Maclin.

Point. It may be a round early.

I was thinking playoffs. He would be great to have weeks 14-16.

BTW, scratch Steve Smith. Wrong one.

I took Ryan. Maclin was gone. Peyton Hillis also gone. I was hoping to get him in 2-3 rounds. I need to start planning my handcuff swipes. Jacquizz Rogers could be a feature RB.

Is there anyone else that comes to mind? Rookies?

                            Rogers is a good idea.

Rookies: Doug Martin of TB? David Wilson of NYG? Ronnie Hillman of DEN?

Doug Martin went 2nd round. Wilson has been gone a while. Hillman and Isaiah Pead are still out there.

Spiller and Desean Jackson went the next two picks after me. The guy with the 3rd pick made an offer for Ryan, but it was only top of 8th to end of 7th. I told him end of 9th to end of 7th and he balked.

I have a long wait, then two close together. Note TE is NOT required.
