  • Drafted my first league already.

It was a mistake. We are still 2 teams short, but the league got set to ready, and viola:

    Drew Brees (NO - QB)
    Matt Ryan (Atl - QB)
    Andre Johnson (Hou - WR)
    Greg Jennings (GB - WR)
    Jonathan Baldwin (KC - WR)
    Chris Johnson (Ten - RB)
    Rashard Mendenhall (Pit - RB)
    Jason Witten (Dal - TE)

    Mike Nugent (Cin - K)

    Chicago (Chi - DEF)
    Patrick Peterson (Ari - CB)
    Tamba Hali (KC - LB)

    Peyton Hillis (KC - RB)
    Torrey Smith (Bal - WR)
    Greg Little (Cle - WR)
    Sam Bradford (StL - QB)
    Darren Sproles (NO - RB)

My bench would have played a lot last year, and I finished 2nd in the regular season.

Baldwin as WR3 in a shallow league seems optimistic -- though I know you're a Chiefs fan. However, T. Smith as WR3 should be fine.

You will need good production from Hillis and Sproles, because I don't know how much Mendenhall is gonna play in the first half of the year.

I think project Baldwin as a WR3 is reasonable, and as you say, Torrey Smith. Hillis is probably the actual starter, since Mendenhall is shelved. I have no problem with that. Hillis takes over the Thomas Jones role, which means he leads the team in carries and gets the ball at the GL. Add that the Chiefs could lead the league in rushing, and Hillis is fine at RB2. Not PPR unfortunately, or Bush would be worth a lot more. Still he should be good for 1500 combined yards and 8-10 TD. That is not bad for the bench.

It probably does not matter, since I doubt we play the season off this draft.

So how many teams drafted after it was all over?

I think that at best, it's a mediocre team...short at RB unless Hillis comes back big, short at WR as well relying on Johnson to stay healthy and Smith/Little to step up. Since it's not a PPR, Sproles is pretty much a cipher.

          its 10 teams.

I think the big comeback I need is Chris Johnson. Hillis I have some confidence in getting RB2 numbers. Little is likely bait for WW fishing.

Just like that, its gone. The Cmmish washed out the draft and reopened the league. Hopefully we can get 12 teams this time,so we can have even divisions.
