I guess it is something. Unfortunately I traded my 3rd rd pick before I lost 3 in a row, doh! It was not the ending I planned. Going into the last weekend I could have made the playoffs in all 4 leagues or just 1. I made it in 2, so it was not a great ending.

It's amazing that Pete and I did nada, yet Phreak and Piney both made the playoffs after mortgaging their future last year.

I've had 2 years now where I've sold off all my high picks and been very lucky with some players the following year. This year, the Bears D and Spiller greatly exceeded expectations in the first half of the season, which gave me a few wins early on. I then had enough wins to, once again, dump all of my draft picks and add some talent. I also need to than Bryce Brown for having those 2 huge weeks. Without them, I don't make the playoffs.

Well, my season was lost to grossly underachieving superstars....but that's part of the game. Great season guys! I tried to repeat....fell a little short. Oh well, there's next year.

Thanks Jamie... good game and season for you too... thought I had it in the bag until Reggie Bush went crazy and you closed it from 60 pt gap to 15. Then I was sweating it out the 2nd half games.

Even though I have won other local leagues, I take this as a really prestigious win based on you knowledgeable FF RJ guys...

Squeaked into playoffs by getting really Mith-ed (lucky) with my guys getting hot the last three weeks.

But losing the year before sure did ;-) (dump trades)...

Yeah, I had some depth this year but definitely needed it as Forte, MJD, Aaron Hernandez, Jordy Nelson, Bowe and playoff mvp Dez Bryant all missed significant time with injuries. The road just to get into the playoffs was cobbled together, some weeks, with a patchwork lineup.

Then factor in my Mush-like ability to pick the correct players each week (yeah... I'm looking at you Jordy Nelson!) and there was some definite luck involved.

Gotta give some props to Gris for his consistency work I got to read, proof and use... especially on Jordy Nelson... who consistently screwed me both ways...playing or not playing lol
