18.7 yards/reception for his career. Three years in a row with 20 or more yards/reception.

In his last year, which was with the Cardinals, Maynard played with a 22-year old Terry Metcalf and a 24-year old Ahmad Rashad.
growing up in the 70's he was one of the few legendary guys from the 60's that I knew. Didn't realize he played with Metcalf and Rashad.

I knew Gettleman was bad, but I didn’t realize he cut Maynard too! How did he keep that job for so long?

                        Super bummer. RIP.
