Second, we've all seen how sitting behind a HOF QB can enhance one's development so the smartest move IMO would be to draft Luck and let him learn from Manning for a couple of seasons. Of course, if they get a massive offer for Manning this off-season then it would make sense to make the trade and give the rookie something to work with.
I agree with this. Maybe trade Manning after next year (if comes back healthy).

Eagles' owner Lurie says Reid is staying in Philly, and any changes in the coaching staff will be up to Reid.

I expected more in his time here. He just didn't adjust well.

The issue is that Manning is due a $28 million roster bonus in March. They might not have the luxury of carrying both his money and Luck's.

The other issue is that Luck's father is a meddler just like Archie Manning, and has said that he does not want his son to play behind anyone.

            Gotcha
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

Speilman has been the VP of Player Personnel since 2006. Talk is that the Vikes will go young, across the board and re-build now that Speilman is calling the shots.

Getting rid of Ray Edwards and Sydney Rice were good moves but the fact, no one took their place, was an issue.

...Pagano is now the club house leader to replace him. Sucks since Pagano was rumored to be coming to my school to be the DC.

Raiders can HC Hue Jackson after just one season. So much for trading away the future for Carson Palmer, and a great reason why a team shouldn't give head coaches personnel decisions.

Eagles canned secondary coach Johnny Lynn a few days ago. Spags apparently came to visit today.

This is gonna play out like I thought it would, Spags to Def. Coord., Castillo to secondary coach (with "assistant head coach" title added to make it look less like a demotion).

Jets OC Brian Schottenheimer resigns, to be replaced by Tony Sparano.

And thus the Ryan/Tannenbaum dynamic duo can stop their "we want Schotty back for '12" nonsense. Puh-leeze, we're smarter than that, every New Yorker who pays attention to football knew he wouldn't be back. One day, Rex Ryan will learn people are smarter than the crap he spews, and that day, he will become a great coach. Until then, he's just a BS artist who inherited a good defense.

Henry Ellard, Jeff Weeks & Bill Callahan also won't be back as coaches. Of course, just last week, Tannenbaum said all his coaches would be back.

Mark Davis also said that he's exploring returning the Raiders to LA.

I guess that safety Atlanta put up against the Giants really impressed the hell out of Jax...
