I was talking about Minnesota specifically...but i guess my comment about not winning a title applies. I don't know...he had as little help as any QB that I can recall, so I guess that I can make an exception for him.

If you're referring to today's win, it may have been the best thing for them. They have their future QB and don't need another. Now they can concentrate on filling one of their many, many holes.

Changing the subject, I'm not hearing too many folks talking about Timmy Tebow's private message line to The Big Guy today. 40-14 Buffalo, with two Pick Sixes. Ouch.

Ponder is NOT the answer...he's regressed terribly since his 1st game. Once Webb came in, things started clicking and he had a very nice game. The kid is fearless, and a great athlete...but I doubt that they give him a real chance at the job.

            - This will be the first time since the 1970 merger, apparently, that NFC East champ has not won 10 games.

            - Jets appear to need a win AND a Bengals loss AND a Titans LOSS, plus a Broncos loss OR a Raiders loss (or both).

Someone please tell me they saw the Jerome Simpson TD today?!?!?! Probably the single best individual performance for a TD I've ever seen. He would have made Bela Karolyi proud.

The Jets would be one of the least deserving playoff teams ever if they made it. They are setting offensive football back to the pre-Walter Camp era.

I might win my one title game (non-money league, alas) despite a 0 from Romo. All five of my RB/WR scored at least 14 points (non-PPR), and three of them scored 24 or 25.

League rules: No player acquisitions after week 10 unless a rostered played is placed on IR by the NFL. This is a money league ($100.00 per team, 10 team league).

Here's how I go into the league championship game:
1- So I keep only 1 kicker (mistake), Billy Cundiff. I'm entering the game with a zero for my kicker.
2- Ben Rothlisberger isn't playing today, so my WR2 Mike Wallace totals 12 fantasy points.
3- Adrian Peterson is injured after scoring only 10 fantasy points.
4- Tony Romo is injured before scoring even 1 fantasy point.

With only my defense still to play (Packers, tonight vs the Bears) I'm sitting at 71 points; this after averaging more than 150 points this season. My only consolation is that my opponent is only at 105 points (18 of his points came on one play, an 84 yard punt return for a touchdown by the Browns). Not much consolation though, chances are slim and none for me to score 35 with my defense; but it is possible.

Then the Broncos must be the pre-Pop Warner era!

KC and Oakland played for rights for a playoff shot. If KC wins, they play Denver for the Division. If Oakland wins, they go into week 17 tied and tie breaker up. Going into the week no teams were eliminated. Strange.

Dont look now, but the Chiefs defense is getting nasty. Check it out next September.

If Rex would just shut his fat yap, and do what he keeps saying he's going to do, the jets would be just fine. Sanchez is an awful QB...no skills other than a strong arm and the ability to cough it up at the most inopportune times. If they would have fed the ball to Greene 25 times a game, and limited Sanchez, they'd probably be set for a playoff spot already.

He's a Ryan. The "shut up" gene is missing. His equally fat pig brother is an even worse camera and real-life hog.

(And I LIKE Rex. I just wish he'd stick to coaching and let the record do the talking.)
