    Eli clutch!!!!
After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

Actually, they are good. The other 3 teams stink, though.
Thanks for the backhanded compliment JJ.

But this game showed me that we have a semblance of a passing game.

I think the Giants - strictly from a divisional perspective - are better off with a hard-fought loss to the Pack and a Cowboys choke in Arizona, than a win over the Pack and a Cowboys win as well.

They're a game back either way, but if you live in the NY area, you know how arrogant this Giants bunch gets. If they had won today, all they'd do all week is beat their chests and say, "I told you how great we are." That always sets them up to lay an egg, as long as Coughlin has been coach (though he doesn't himself cop that attitude). Meanwhile the Cowboys would have a 5-game winning streak, and be starting to think maybe December won't haunt them again.

Instead, the Giants will have a chip on their shoulders instead of preening all week. They know they're better than a 6-6 team.
The Cowboys? As noted, they lost a game today where they iced their own kicker out of a game-winning FG.

The Giants are better off when they're hungry and the Cowboys are haunted.

I don't think I've ever seen three offensive pass interference calls on the same player lol.

You can't pull what I used to call "Plaxicos" playing for a stupid, dirty team like the Lions - the refs will call them every time.

This Garcon owner would like to thank the Patriots' D for mailing it in during garbage time.

I saw that too, but we also get the Philly stations, so I switched to Fox Philly, where they stayed with DEN-MIN until it ended.

The NFC East is AWFUL. Makes the Eagles' failure to get a real defensive coordinator even more grating.

NBC10 in Philly reported last night that McNabb wants to go to the Bears, and the Bears might now be just desperate enough to take him on.

So, can someone explain to me why you'd play a soft zone on Blaine Gabbert when he hasn't proven he can throw downfield at all?

My gut call is "Norv Turner is an idiot", but I'm open to other suggestions.
I'm just here for the baseball.
