Adrian Peterson (ankle) said Wednesday that he "expects" to play against the Falcons this week.
All previous reports had Peterson almost certain to miss at least this week's game -- if not more. Still in a walking boot but not limping, Peterson believes he will practice Friday despite the Grade 1 high ankle sprain with ligament damage. Coach Leslie Frazier, who did not dispute Peterson's comments, will make the final decision. Peterson fantasy owners shouldn't get their hopes up until after Friday's practice.
