what's most surprising is how close this is coming to opening day.

It's incredible how many teams could improve with garrard. Seattle and San Fran seem to be leading the rumor mill (anyone who bought Seattle skill players despite Tarvaris Jackson would rejoice) but Washington (who won't add him) would also improve. I bet Miami calls also. Oh and Jacksonville would be better with him at QB.

Arizona would be a good team, if they had good QB play. Garrard might make them at least mediocre. Of course there is still the RB problem.

No I didnt miss that. In fact I drafted Kolb as one of my backups. However, there are signs taht the marriage is not going well.

I know Jax is cheap but this move is strange. Garrard is probably a top-20 QB in the NFL. Luke McCown is, well, not. A lot of teams could use Garrard. If the Kerry Collins experiment doesn't go well I think Indy is at the top of that list.
