    We start 1 Def player and it looks like LBs get the most points since no DBs or DTs were on anyone's rosters from last year. For those who draft individual defensemen, who would be your top 12 LBs? Here were the top 12 point totals last year. Anyone from this list I need to avoid and who has a good shot to be on this list next year? TIA

    1. Jerod Mayo
    2. Ray Lewis
    3. Stephen Tulloch
    4. James Anderson
    5. Chad Greenway
    6. Patrick Willis
    7. Brian Urlacher
    8. Lawrence Timmons
    9. James Laurinitis
    10. Paul Posluszny
    11. DJ Williams
    12. Derrick Johnson
    If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

    Scoring matters a lot. What are you using? Off the top of my head, there is no way Ray Lewis is still that high. Not top 10 IMO, but maybe soon after. Using a sack = 2, FF = 3, INT = 5 system.

      Ok, pts as follows:

      Tackles = 1 (this is why everyone takes a LB)
      Sack = 2
      Fumbles recovered = 2 (yet 0 points for fumbles forced, I'll have to ask about that)
      INTs = 2
      Safeties = 2
      TD = 6 (either via fumble or INT)

        Beason. Hasn't practiced yet.
        Mayo. Not sure he puts up last years numbers with the NE defense apparently going 3-4, 4-3 on a weekly basis.
        Barnett. The signing of Kirk Morrison kinda puts a potential damper on Barnett.
        London Fletcher. The Iron Man of linebackers but I think he slows down a lot this year.
        Posluszny. Can never stay healthy, I'll let someone else grab him.
        Dansby. Supposedly played hurt last year, could rebound slightly.
        Desmond Bishop. Not a sexy name but could be very productive for GB.
        DQwell Jackson. Likely the only Browns D-player worth owning.
        David Hawthorne. Has the makings of a top-10, if not top-5 LB this year now that Lofa is gone.
        Lance Briggs. I always like this guy, always seems kinda underrated to me.
        Rey Maualuga. Its been ages since Cincy has had a decent LB but might have one this year.
        Stephen Tulloch. Is likely the one Lions LB to have but Levy and Durant muddy the waters a tad.
        Donald Butler. This slot has always been productive, can be had late-ish in most drafts.
        Lenon/Bradley. I'm not sure how Paris Lenon fends off Bradley in Arizona but he has thus far in pre-season.
        I'll avoid the Indy linebacker position not named Brackett.

          That scoring system doesn't award big play enough. Regardless, Patrick Willis would by my number 1 target. But in a league that award tackles above all else, there won't be enough difference between the top 10-15 guys to warrant you worrying too much about the position.

            Yea I got them to add FFs for 2 pts each. I got Tulloch with my last pick. Willis went ridiculously early, like 8th round.
