***The Draft will start on Monday, August 22nd. Keepers are due by 8am on Monday, August 15th.***
8 hour clock during the week (8am until 10pm). No clock on weekends (Friday at 5pm until Monday at 8am). Please try to keep the draft moving along by sending an email/text/PM (or calling) the next person. We have at least 156 players to draft with the season scheduled to start on Thursday, September 8th. That gives us 17 days to finish. If we finish the draft early enough, I think that I can set waivers up to run on Thursday, September 8th (around 2am).

Keepers
Each team can keep up to 2 players from previous season. Players move up 2 rounds from where they were drafted last year. Free agent pickups count as a 10th round pick so they can be kept as an 8th round pick. Players drafted in the 9th round (or earlier) maintain their draft status even if they are dropped and later picked back up as a free agent. Players drafted in the 11th round (or later) lose their draft status if they are dropped and later picked back up as a free agent.

NOTE: You are not required to have a full starting roster at the end of the draft. For example: You could choose to not take a defense and/or kicker in the draft. Some teams have opted to add another QB, RB, WR or TE at the end of the draft instead of the usual DEF or kicker pick. If you choose to go with this strategy, you will have to pick up a kicker or defense before the season starts. To do this, you will either have to pick up a kicker or defense using waivers or you could wait until waivers run and then add a player via free agency.
Waivers
Waivers run on Thursday morning, around 2am. Then remaining players are free agents until Sunday (5 minutes before first game). Players dropped during the waiver process will not be available to pick up until the following weeks waivers.
Playoffs
Top 6 teams. Top 2 seeds get a 1st round bye. Playoffs start in Week 14
Draft order (starting with 2010 draft)
-Playoff teams will have picks 6-12 (depending on how the playoffs end up).
-The #1 pick will go to the 7th place team, #2 pick will go to the 6th place team, etc so that the 12th place team will get the 5th pick.
-This system will hopefully keep all owners active at the end of the year. There is no benefit to finishing in last place.
