  • Jordan Reed or Michael Crabtree

Reed is $8, Crabtree is $15. I've been offered Crabtree for Reed and I'm tempted given Reed's injury proneness. I am a sucker for elite TEs, though, and I like Reed's chances for big numbers as the main focal point of that offense with their WR departures.

I also have to decide if either of these guys are better keepers than Mark Ingram $11 and Larry Fitzgerald $17. We can keep five, but one has to be a IDP, and before the trade offer, I was deciding between Reed, Ingram, and Fitzgerald for my final two keeper spots.

So, would you make the trade, and if so, who would you keep? Are Crabtree and Ingram my best options?

Additonal info: it is a 1/2 pt per reception league, and 1/2 pt per 10 yards receiving and rushing league, so the scoring set up favors TDs. 14 teams, with 7 spots for IDPs, so we do have to budget some money from our $200 budget for defensive players.

I think I'd keep Reed. You'll give yourself an extra $7 to spend to bolster the rest of your roster and you can even spend a dollar or two extra to get one of the low TE1/high TE2 to cover yourself if/when Reed gets hurt. At $8 I think he carries alot of potential profit and I'd keep him along with Ingram.

Thanks guys. I kept Reed and Ingram.

Now I'm tempted to offer Ingram for Derrick Henry. I have DeMarco Murray and not having Henry scares me. I really like what I see in the kid, and I'm not a huge fan of Ingram now that ADP is on the team. Someone talk me out of this overpay (Henry is actually a couple of bucks more expensive than Ingram).

I wouldn't do it...I think that Peterson is all but done. He ran so hard for a long time, and it was bound to catch up with him. I love Henry, but he's a back-up at this point...if you have another RB that you can start, maybe, but only is you have another guy.

I agree, especially if Henry is more expensive than Ingram.

I ended up trading Reed for a more expensive Kelce and Marshawn Lynch. Hard for me to believe in Lynch, but he is cheap, and Kelce is safer than Reed. If Reed manages to stay healthy, I will regret it though.
