  • Keeper Help

Starting to look at my keeper list with my draft in about 10 days and could use some input.

12 teams, 1/2 point PPR, all else standard. We start: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE), K, DEF

    My options (can keep 2):

Allen Robinson - Would be kept in lieu of my 2nd round pick
    Jordy Nelson - 6th round
    Tyler Eifert - 8th round
    Dak Prescott - 13th round

I'm leaning towards Jordy and Dak but wasn't sure if Eifert was a better option? I may also be able to bundle some of my keepers and draft picks for better keepers (some good keepers include Ajayi as an 8th rounder, Pryor as a 10th rounder, Jimmy Graham in the 11th, Mariota in the 10th, etc.)

I'm assuming you can only keep two, so Jordy and Dak pretty easily.

Ahh yes, only can keep 2. I'll edit the original post.

Agreed, Jordy and Dak...with Eiffert a close second

Jordy and Dak. You'll be fine at TE, I'm sure.

No reason to keep a QB in a 1 QB league, so I'd dump Dax in a heartbeat. I'd take eifert as an 8th rounder who could easily outperform his slot.

I agree with the others on Jordy...

Using our mock as a judge, Eifert went in Rd 7 (8th rd keeper here) while Prescott went in Rd 10 (13th rd keeper).

Perhaps but without Elliott and a much tougher schedule I personally would not be very bullish on Dak and wouldn't want him as any more than an upside backup. Neither imo is a huge value.

Thanks for all the input on this. I did end up keeping Dak and paired him with Russell Wilson in last night's draft. Wilson was the 6th QB off the board, surprisingly after both Mariota and Newton were taken as early as the 4th round! Eifert ended up being draft in the 7th round a few slots before I ended up taking Delanie Walker with my 7th round pick. So, all in all, I think it turned out alright but we'll see when the games start playing!
