The cost will be the admission price into the HOF itself....no extra cost. I think it's like $20.

I won't have any problems getting speakers....the Hall will pay the travel expenses...so I can't see why they wouldn't want to attend.

I was thinking starting with the big names like:

Jamey Eisenberg - CBS
Matthew Berry or Mike Clay - ESPN
Brad Evans or Scott Pianowski - Yahoo
David Dodds - Football Guys
Bob Harris - Football Diehards

I'm not saying that I believe they are the best/smartest but they are recognized names.

Not sure I would pay for that either but I'll chime in for you anyway. I agree with Harris and Hanson from Revo's list. From your list I think Pianowski, Dodds and Clay are the sharpest. I also like Jeff Ratcliffe a great deal and also John Paulsen. That said I think you have to think about how you balance entertainment vs expertise. A guy like Berry I don't love from a pure expertise standpoint but he is more of an entertainer (not to say I am a fan but he can hold a crowd likely better than some others). For that matter somebody like Sigmund Bloom would also stick out.

How about some speakers on DFS? That might attract more of a crowd, assuming it's legal in Ohio.

Yeah, trust me....I understand the need for DFS....but the HOF may want to stay away from the controversy surrounding this in the courts across the country.

I'm meeting with them today and I'll be very honest and open about it.

I'm thinking they'll stay away from it but we'll see.
