Vikings/Packers are only a game apart...could be a strong possibility.

As far as Beckham is concerned, he should be suspended for at least a game, if not 2, and the officials working the game should be suspended as well. They were obviously star-struck and just looks past several fouls that would have gotten anyone else tossed.

Not that anyone cares, but I got David Johnsoned last night and now need 55.5 points from Stafford and Hightower to pull it out tonight. 4 point TD pass and PPR doesn't make it look good...sigh.

Even if Redskins fail to clinch the division on Saturday night, Giants will be eliminated if they lose at the Vikings on Sunday night.
best-case scenario is Giants-Eagles for division title, but if Redskins beat Cowboys earlier on final day, Giants are eliminated.

could be a scenario where Redskins definitely have title on the line that Sun night - and while the Cowboys are eliminated, they still produce nutty-good ratings.

Packers-Vikings could be better play even if it's just for Packers seeking a bye and Vikings trying to get NFC Least champ in first round instead of a better opponent.

I'd be surprised if Beckham got suspended because he is in the national game on Sunday. Or maybe they say he is, but he appeals - then sits out the meaningless finale.

I had mentioned last year that I wondered if Beckham is a risk for you fantasy football guys - on the premise that I expected him to miss games after being injured by unimpressed opponents. On the first series yesterday, Norman flung Beckham down after a running play elsewhere right in front of the ref - no call. That's not the first time that's happened, either - the refs clearly aren't buying his classless antics any more than players are.

At this point, the Giants continue to coddle him. It was mentioned that they let Jeremy Shockey - a far lesser talent - run wild, to the detriment of him and the team. Weird that they're doing it again. Giants fans on sports talk radio today offered little to no defense of him - one guy even said he decided not to get his sons Beckham jerseys for Christmas after all, the guy being such a disgrace.

Beckham's dirtiest play was helmet to helmet, after the whistle.

With NFL supposedly focusing on head injuries, that sort of late hit is worse than a punch. He should get a 2 game suspension.

it's 1-game suspension; he will appeal

          I'm stunned!

maybe he and Chase Utley can appear together for their appeals

That was an immature dangerous play. Plus, it was clearly intentional. He should be lucky he was suspended only one game.

So apparently there are some rumors circulating that OBJ may be gay, and the Panthers may have tuned into some of those sites and were peppering him with anti-gay slurs all game. Not that it makes it any better, but there's that.

His or anyone else's sexual orientation is irrelevant. He went too far and was lucky to not get tossed. (Phrasing). He is a paid professional and did not act like one for a good portion of that game. Of course, I have him on my fantasy super bowl bound team, so the suspension will be rightfully upheld and my buffalo bills steak will continue.

Why not? I love a good DDT like most wrastlin' fan. Or we could see the Honky Tonk's Shake Rattle and Roll again.
Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.
