Ravens place Lorenzo Taliaferro on IR, claim Rasheed Mostert off waivers. He looked good for the Eagles in preseason but got caught in a numbers game.

That punt play by the Colts: Dumb play or dumbest play?

Dumbest play. I have no idea whatsoever what they were thinking or what they were trying to accomplish.

It wasn't supposed to be snapped; they were trying to get a 12-men-on-the-field penalty or NE to burn a time out. If they didn't get either, take the delay of game.

Colts coach Chuck Pagano assumed responsibility for a "communication breakdown" on a botched fourth-down play late in the third quarter of Indianapolis' 34-27 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

But they apparently practiced this play -- did no one tell these guys "do not snap it no matter what happens?"

Tonight i needed a TD and 110 yards from DeMarco Murray to pull off the come from behind win. Murray finished with a TD and 109 yards! I lost by half a point! It's the second time in four weeks that my 3-3 team has lost by half a point!

That's nuts. In my auction league (PPR), going into Sunday night I led by 0.6 with Murray and Gostkowski left for me and Blount and NE D left for him. Murray's TD put me over the top. I needed about 15 from him.

I have two 6-0 teams, one 5-1 team, one 4-2 team that has gotten high score the last two weeks, and my disastrous 1-5 RJ Pay for Play team.

On Thursday Yahoo corrected Murray's yardage total to 112, so i got the win after all.
