  • 2 QB leagues.

I am drafting 7th in an 8 team league. Here are the rules:
    Scoring:

    10 rushing/receiving yards per point
    25 passing yards per point
    6 pts/rushing/receiving TD
    4 pts/passing TD
    -2 pts/fumble lost and INT
    0.25 PPR

Kicker points are standard Yahoo, except kickers lose a point for missed FG under 40 yds and missing an XP. Defense points have been buffed slightly to be more meaningful with bigger rosters.

    Positions:

QB, QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, WR, TE, W/T, R/W/T, DEF, K, BN, BN, BN, IR

Rodgers, Lynch and Luck are off the board the first three picks.

I will need to leave a list in the morning. Where will the value be for picks 7 and 10?

One of the top 5 RB has to fall. With this set up, do I go for any RB but Leveon Bell with the #7 pick? Two of Brown, Thomas, Dez, Julio or Cobb also has to fall. I am almost hoping I don't have to make the decision on AP.

I am going to lean heavily on Bob Lung's work, So I'll keep this thread running through the draft.

    1-7) LeVeon Bell, RB
    2-2) Dez Bryant, WR
    3-7) Alshon Jeffery, WR
    4-2) CJ Anderson, RB
    5-7) Emmanual Sanders, WR
    6-2) Ryan Tannehill, QB
    7-7) Golden Tate, WR
    8-2) Colin Kaepernick, QB
    9-7) Andre Ellington, RB
    10-2) Jay Cutler, QB
    11-7) CJ Spiller, RB
    12-2) Roddy White

I've never played in a 2 QB or Superflex league but my sense is that QBs become just as valuable as RBs, if not more.

Your setup also makes WRs valuable as you can start 6 of them.

I would take a top 5 RB at 7 and then go QB in the 2nd if any of the second tier are left (Wilson, Peyton, etc.). If not, go WR.

I got Le'veon Bell at #7. I plan to take best WR at #10.

How valuable will Devante Adams be? Top 10 WR?

There's a lot of exuberance with Adams right now but I don't think I'd put him in the top 10. To justify that, you'd need to assume that Cobb/Adams will produce the same as Nelson/Cobb did last year, and we just don't know exactly how Nelson's targets will be divvied up yet, or if the Packers will lean more on the run. I'd put him around where Brandon Marshall and Amari Cooper are going.

2 QBs in an 8-team league still does not make them valuable.

But they make my team look better.

Dez at #10. I almost went with Jamaal Charles, but I wanted a top WR.

Randall Cobb was a steal three picks before my 3rd round pick.

              I took Alshon Jeffery.

              My three man list is
              CJ Anderson
              Emanual Sanders
              Shady

Rounds 5 and 6 coming up soon. All these QB are gone.

                Round 1
                Rodgers
                Luck
                R Wilson

                Round 2
                P Manning

                Round 3
                Roethlisberger
                Brees

                Round 4
                M Ryan
                E Manning
                Brady
                C Newton

                Round 5
                M Stafford

All other teams have their QB1. Two have both starting QB. I am up in 4 picks. Do I take BPA at QB, or go another direction?
Is someone undervalued at this point? Gris's top 10 is depleted, except for Tannehill.

One note, the team on the swing has 2 QB already. He is also defending champ.

Update: Took Tannehill in round 6. The other QB on my radar is Philip Rivers. We will see if he lasts 12 picks.

In the 7th round I would have loved Kelvin Benjamin, but he's done for the year. I settled for Golden Tate. For my 2nd QB I took Kaepernick in round 8 and Cutler in round 10. Andre Ellington is one of my favorite sleepers. I landed him in round 9.

I now have the required 4 WR and 2 QB. There has been a mini-run on TEs. With 8 required, and about 10 second or third tier TE, that seems silly. I can see taking Gronk and Graham by now, but that's about it. Olson and Kelce are solid picks for the middle game, but not yet. The first Def off the board was Seattle in round 8. Way too early and not even the best D, which is Buffalo, taken round 10.

IMO the value is now at RB and aging WR. We can play up to 4 RB or 6 WR. We will see if Alfred Morris, Joique Bell, Gio Bernard or Latavius Murray make it back to me. At WR Roddy White, Brandon Marshall, Marques Colston, Anquan Boldin are all left.
