  • 2015 HoF Class

Junior Seau, Jerome Bettis, Tim Brown, Charles Haley and Will Shields were elected Saturday to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Some real no brainers here. How it took 4 years for Shields to make it defies logic. At least you have the excuse of Haley being a

I was surprised there was no thread. Not thrilled with Bettis. Other than that, solid class by recent standards.

Even as a Steelers fan i have to agree that Bettis was a good but not great running back who piled up a lot of yards over 13 seasons. That said, i'm happy for him.

As an old guy I am surprised Tingelhoff was included, I thought he was already in. I think those Vikings teams from the early 70s get overlooked because all the Super Bowl losses.

Yeah, I believe that Shield, Bettis and Brown were long overdue.....I'm not sure who I want to drive yet.

Brown is the obvious choice as a Raiders fan but I always lose out to the other Raider fan with 7 more years of experience.

Not sure who his presenter will be...so I'll wait.

I doubt that I have any shot at Bettis since he is the highest profile...that always goes to the guy with the most experience on our committee.

With two owners/contributors....it makes the class seem smaller even though they allow 8 people now.

apparently it was unusual for a QB to be a finalist and not get in on his first try. Kurt Warner won a pair of regular-season MVPs and has the 3 highest passing yards totals in Super Bowl history (none of which were blowout losses that can lead to a lot of garbage-time passing totals).

Warner has the Terrell Davis problem--short career at the top of his game. Great post season legacy. Put that on Danny White, for example, and you get a no brainer HoF.
