  • Playoffs Rd 1 2nd seed.

    2 WR slots 1 Flex

    Calvin Johnson for sure

    Keenan Allen v Pats
    Jeremy Maclin v Hawks
    Michael Crabtree v Oak
    Larry Fitzgerald v KC
    Stedman Bailey v Wash
    Travis Kelce v Az

I'm leaning toward Allen and Bailey due to matchups but it's hard not to start Maclin who has been solid all year, the others I'm pretty Meh on.

Definitely Allen, and I could understand Bailey, but would be very hard-pressed to bench Maclin even with the fact Richard Sherman will be on him.

That's my quandary, I'm playing a very strong 7 seed who actually beat me in the reg season. I grabbed baily due to his performance last week and washingtons secondary issues, but man...benching Maclin who is capable of a big day, any day.........I also see Seattle harassing Sanchez quite a bit. I have a day or so to decide.

I think Matthews and Celek (not Ertz; Celek will be on the field more because he's a better blocker) will be the main beneficiaries in the Eagles' passing game this week. Sanchez prefers to throw up the middle vs. the sidelines anyway, Seattle is better in coverage on the outside than on the inside, and any breakdowns in protection will prompt Sanchez to look for those in his comfort zone, which will usually mean Matthews, Celek and Sproles (not McCoy, who's not being used much in the passing game for whatever reason this year).

That being said, I wouldn't bench Maclin unless I had a proven better alternative, and Bailey isn't it. The Rams' passing O is highly inconsistent, both in terms of production and who benefits from that production, from week to week.

I feel the same way, but it's really killing me to start him vs Sherman and the added fact that sanchez hasn't faced a defense like the Hawks'. I'm going with Maclin and might kick myself, but i'd hate to have him on the bench when he goes off unexpectedly.

does Richard Sherman still play on one side of the field or does he follow Maclin around? I thought he played one side of the field.

Not sure, but I think you are correct about the one side. I haven't paid much attn to it as I've pretty much started Megatron, Maclin and Allen all year.

Sherman usually plays one side of the field. However, so does Maclin. And it's the same side (Offense right, Defense left).

I would avoid the Sherman matchup.

Allen and Bailey would be my choices as the others are too erratic (Crabtree, Kelce) or injured (Fitz). Bailey is the flavor of the week and I think he'll do alright
