  • WR2 and QB Question for the Playoffs...

In the RJ pay for play league I managed to win my last 3 and get myself into the playoffs. It is a ppr league and I do have CJ Anderson, Leveon Bell and LeSean McCoy for 3 spots. I have Calvin Johnson as my WR 1. It leaves two roster spots that have real questions. WR 2 is either Roddy White vs GB on Monday night or Mike Evans vs Detroit. For that one let's assume White gets in a full week of practice and health is not a concern. The 2nd one is my disaster of a QB slot. Eli vs Tennessee or Ryan Fitzpatrick vs Jacksonville. 4 pts for TD passes.

Thanks for your help guys and good luck to everyone in their playoff games!

There are WW QB's out there I could chase too, McCoy or Flacco.

I'd prefer R. White at WR2 but I'm not sure that you'll know for sure that he's going to play on Monday Night. So you may have to go with Evans to avoid a possible zero from White. Is there any way that you can grab Douglas as insurance?

The QB question is a tricky one:

Flacco: I probably trust him the most all things being equal. T. Smith is banged up and if he doesn't play, I'd look elsewhere. MIA DEF has been good against the pass this season and just got gashed by the Jets on the ground. Will BAL go with a run heavy game plan as a result?

    E. Manning: Best match-up out of the group. But which Eli will show up? Definitely has the highest ceiling but also could have the best chance to blow up in a bad way. TEN has been giving up a ton of pts to opposing QBs.

McCoy: Has played really well this season but the Rams DEF has been playing well lately. They seem to have their pass rush working right now. D. Jackson has a leg injury & I'm not sure what his status is for the game.

Fitzpatrick: Had a huge week last week against TEN. Has a good match-up and his WRs seem to be healthy. Just wonder if Foster is a little healthier this week, will the Texans run the ball more?

I think that I'd go with Flacco if T. Smith plays. If Smith sits, then it's between Eli & Fitz for me with the edge going to Eli because of the great match-up. Plus with R. Jennings injured, the Giants will need him to make plays to win the game.

    Good luck to you!!

Happy to make it clear as mud:

        I'd go Evans and Eli

Thanks guys. I'll probably go with Eli since the TEN D is pretty bad. White/Evans is really close. In PPR if healthy I trust White more. Just not sure I can trust him.

Is it possible to add Douglas as insurance if White doesn't play?

I could, I'm not sure how excited I am by the idea of playing Douglas. White didn't practice yesterday, if he hasn't got a full session in by Saturday I'll probably roll Evans out there and hope for the best.

He put up 9/116 last week versus Arizona on 12 targets. Although he was also held out of practice yesterday while trying to get over a foot injury. Just figure that the Falcons are going to have to throw the ball to keep up with Aaron Rodgers & the Packers.
