In clearly a speculative play assuming I advance to the next round of the playoffs, would you drop Ryan Mathews for the Baltimore D?

I have the Texans vs JAC this week and BAL plays JAC next week...oh and the Texans face Indy next week, so it would be a tough start for them...although, they did score 12 in week 6.

My current RB are Lacy, Forsett, Hill, Ellington and Mathews, so I don't even think Mathews, with his tough remaining playoff schedule, hits my starting lineup. I start 2 RB only with no Flex.

I think that I'd rather drop M. Bryant to pick up the BAL DEF. Being 5 deep at WR without Bryant, I'd rather have the RB depth (especially with Ellington's injury and the return of Gio which hurts Hill's value). Good luck!!
    14 Team 1/2PPR league (1 Keeper)

QB: Rivers (3), Stafford (5), Keenum (NA)
    RB: Kamara (11), McKinnon (7), Bernard (7)
WR: M. Thomas (NA), Crabtree (1), Shepard (8), Wallace (NA), Cobb (NA)
    TE: Olsen (NA)
    K: Lutz (7)
    DEF: JAX (7)

    (We start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 DEF)

I would keep Mathews as insurance for Lacy and Forsett (your presumed starting RB for the rest of the season) because I don't think Ellington is gonna do much the rest of the year, and who knows what Cincy will do from week to week. MBryant is your most expendable player.

I agree about Ellington, not only is he battling a "severe" hip pointer but he also has a tough remaining schedule (Week 14 vs KC, Week 15 at STL, Week 16 vs SEA and Week 17 at SF).
