How many times are teams on the same list? Time for another 7-9 team to make the playoffs and advance. Saints going to Seattle and winning would be justice.

Doesn't really mean too much, though, does it? None of it is guaranteed and they can cut him loose at any time.

I really hope he's just emergency depth although Belishit really seems to like fucking with the fantasy crowd so look for him to get 30 carries next week while Gray and Vereen pick their asses

oh, it's better - Seattle would have to visit the Saints if NO goes 7-9 and wins division and SEA goes 11-5 and is top wild card.

          Latavius Murray - 4 rushes, 112 yards, 2 TDs, 1 concussion

Damn shame he looked unstoppable. If healthy (and he has 10 days to get there) there is no reason any other Oakland RB should get more than 5 touches.

Oh and special delivery for ElD in the bittersweet department, I started Murray against him in the RJ league.

Our baseball league has a 2-time champ who now has 4 kids, and when I do his team's postseason review in an off-year, I deadpan about his "curious" decision to waste so much time on his family obligations at the expense of his franchise's fortunes. Good humor leans towards the absurd.

After holding him for 7 weeks (at $2) in our keeper league, I released him last week -- because I wanted to hold on to Dan Bailey. I suck ass.

                Multitask.
Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?

Yah I kept trying to find a way to sneak him away from you (as well as John brown) in any of our negotiations there but obviously nothing panned out. I had him prior to you and expected at this would happen much sooner (not to say he would be so awesome but simply that he would supplant the old guys). Don't fret though, you got shoelace off faab when I dropped him at $5 a week before he went off!

Blame this one on blowhard Mike Francesa on WFAN in NYC.
Chiefs fan calls yesterday, worries this is a "trap game" between last year's Super Bowl teams as opponents. Mike says no, because it's a Thursday game and they have a lot of time off coming. Says it's not a good idea to give a lot of points to a home 'dog in a division game, and notes that Raiders had kept it close in 5 of last 6.

all very reasonable. but then he pontificated that this one would be a blowout for the Chiefs. the caller thanked him, relieved to know that he had nothing to worry about after all.

Yeah, Robinson's been a great pickup (and an awful drop, lol), but at $37, he's no longer a keeper. I loved Murray but man, week after week of no carries was starting to wear on me, and when Bailey had his bye, I said to myself "Bailey's been my best kicker in years.....let's drop Murray for a week and I'll pick him up again next week." Of course, last week he goes 4-for-41 and some light goes off in Oakland that he's better than the two old stiffs they have, and heading into this week Murray became the fantasy darling. I re-bid on him (I could only go as high as $6), but knew someone else would snatch him away. I hope I'm not kicking myself for years on this one!!!

As I hope I'm not kicking myself on both Shoelace and Murray. Good news is I got him in my two other keepers including RJ so he'd be an 8th if he does pan out. In the other he'd be a 5th so it's gonna be tough to be a value keeper there.

In other words, he learned nothing about Andy Reid's gameday coaching abilities despite seeing him coach against the Giants twice a year for 14 years.

Arian Foster, Reggie Bush, Dwayne Allen OUT today. Fitzgerald, Julius Thomas both likely out as well.

possibly the worst-coached final minute in NFL history.
Falcons down to 35 with minute left, down 23-21. Browns should call a timeout, but are too dumb.
So Falcons call it instead - even dumber.
3rd down, about 50 seconds left, Falcons throw deep and incomplete to stop the clock (!).
FG good from 53 yards (!) for Falcons lead.
Browns with all 3 timeouts left (!) with 44 seconds left.
into Falcons territory, inside the 30, but use their last timeout with 16 seconds left on 1st down (!). so limited options.
pass complete to the 20, Browns rush ahead, get the spike with 5 seconds left - and the winning FG.

clutch loss for those Redskins - they proved they wanted it less!

up 13-10 with 5 mins left, allow a big pass play to WASH 35, tack on an unnecessary roughness penalty to get 49ers to the red zone, allow the go-ahead TD, then with almost 2 mins left, TWO penalties on a punt return backs them up 20 yards to their own 8. then a false start to go back to the 4. then RG III fumbles, Ballgame.

                                49ers are..... not good.

Ram down 3 at the 5 yard line in final minute and.... intercepted. ouch
