I just had a different formulation ... in all likelihood will make no difference (as is often the case). It was actually a good strategy for this format ... with so many eligible years at good and OK letters there is plenty of value left even at traditionally poor letters.

I'm surprised at how many palatable options I have at the letters I have left. Of course in the first few rounds I would have turned up my nose at them, but now they don't look so bad. I had thought about Vaughn a few rounds back to mess you up : ) Glad I didn't go that route.

Vaughn was an afterthought ... pretty unfortunate one ... although it will make no difference to my final position.

I went ahead an made my last two (terrible) picks since I can't fathom anyone would use a WC on either.

This was interesting and a lot of fun. I definitely need to do a bit more research and organize if I do one of these again in the future, but I'd be up for giving it a try.

Lack of respect really ... I went to the effort of making a late night double skip pick ... Stephen makes a triple play including a extra double skip pick in the pike position ... and Heye couldn't even be arsed to make one pick

with all these people giving me extra information I felt obliged to actually look at what it did for my team. I had been slightly concerned that Stephen could catch me in rations (although I hadn't looked at his letters) but those picks give me card blanch to blow up my ratios and still not fall to last.

best RJ comment from dinner last night was when i told Girl that I thought the dead pool was right up her alley and she said she would have just taken Manti Te'o's next girlfriend in the first round.

Being at the end of the draft in a draft this shallow is a huge, huge advantage. We really should reconsider doing the last round or two blind.

Another thing I was thinking is that the later rounds we might want to consider not doing a snake. I think there is an advantage to being in the middle where you don't have to worry as much about a category getting devastated before you get another pick. Once this draft hit a snail's pace I was also thinking we might think about some more fluid draft positions, such as a person being allowed to pick within +/- 3 picks of his draft slot. Haven't figured all this issues this would cause, just random thoughts.

Maybe we could even do the whole draft blind, except for the first 5 rounds or so. We could do 2 rounds a day or something like that.
