Thanks! I am going bold. My goal is to be top half in every category. I think that should be enough to beat any tankers. I don't know if I can pull it off, but we'll see.
But still way too early to tell. Lots of picks I am planning only have a couple of people who can take them, but one certain person keeps popping up in all the lists. The two of us might kamikaze each other by taking each other's picks.
Yeah I think you're certainly among the front runners. Nice job so far.

Dude, he was never getting to you. Of course you weren't going to buy. I'll go bold now. If two certain players make it back to me for my next pick, I think I win this. I might be wrong (my grand plan might leave me short everywhere), but I think I can play the straight up, all categories fine if I can get a couple of guys.

That would make it interesting - our wild card could be letter OR Decade. That would flip things around a little bit.
I guess - traditionally on this post # I am suppose to mention something about the Amish and toothpaste.
I don't know if that would change anything. If you used a wild card on a decade instead of a letter, that would mean an extra QUIZY letter, and I can't imagine that would work. There would have to be an extra roster slot added or something that came with a decade wild card.
With frae's pick of Trammell in 1987, it makes me wonder. Which individual year is the most common for hitters in drafts with decades involved. I assume it has to be either 1987 or (more likely) 1894. Both seem to stand out relative to their decade. For pitchers, I would guess 1968.
