Here in my neck of the woods, the food comes VERY spicy if you so desire. When I traveled, I sought out spicy food all over the world. I can safely say that the food here is spicier than anywhere else I traveled, including India and Thailand. I didn't really go to the culinary hotspots of those countries, though. Mexico has some decent spicy food.

I mean, '08 Barry Bonds was surely collusion (right?), although that predates your MLB time. I'm guessing if it still exists, and I have no real evidence that it does whatsoever, it's kept tightly under wraps. Written documentation of that kind of thing would be hugely scandalous. Maybe it's just me tilting at windmills since surely a powerhouse like the baseball union would sniff it out. I think it's far more likely that the billionaire sewing circle colluded - through informal "gentlemen's agreements" - just like they had for decades previous. The collusion here is blacklisting, also a common practice in baseball and other professional sports. I think we saw the same kind of under-the-table shenanigans when A-Rod was found to be a roider. These guys circle the wagons in times of trouble.
